Overview and Scope of Service
This website is operated by Parts Panel. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Parts Panel. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
General Parts and Warranty Conditions
All parts include a 90-day warranty and a 30-day return policy from the delivery date. The 90-day warranty covers only mechanical and electrical issues for parts and strictly does not cover labor, installation costs, or any incidental expenses. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all parts prior to installation. Please note that parts sold are within the range of interchangeability and may not necessarily be the exact year and model of the vehicle provided, as long as they are functional equivalents. Parts may or may not include clips or fasteners, and it is the customer's responsibility to verify what is included in a specific assembly prior to purchase.
Warranty Exclusions and Void Conditions
All warranties are considered void if the part is installed in an application for which the manufacturer did not intend or if the vehicle is used for government, taxi, commercial, fleet, racing, or off-road competitive purposes unless expressly stated on the invoice. Warranty is also void for any parts sold “As Is.” Coverage does not apply to failure caused by fire, theft, vandalism, collision, or environmental weather factors. Any misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modification of the part will void all claims. Furthermore, failure to follow manufacturer-recommended service intervals or using incorrect fuel, oil, or coolant will result in a voided warranty. Specific to drivetrains, transmission fluid and filters must be changed at the time of installation with OEM recommended fluids, and engine oil must be changed and documented every 4000 KMS with OEM recommended oil to maintain warranty standing.
Specific Component Guidelines
For Engines, warranty coverage is limited to the block and header assembly only; bolt-on components like water pumps, fuel pumps, or ignition systems are not covered unless stated otherwise. For Transmissions and Transfer Cases, installers must replace all seals, gaskets, and filters, and flush the radiator or oil cooler prior to installation. Computer modules often require professional re-programming which is the responsibility of the customer. Please note that glass breakage and wear-and-tear items such as ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, and suspension bushings are not covered by our warranty and must be inspected by the installer.
High-Risk Components and "As-Is" Sales
All used tires are sold “As Is” and are not covered under any warranty. Used tires are not tested to meet safety standards, and the purchaser assumes all risks regarding their use. Similarly, all recycled SRS Airbags and Seatbelts are sold “As Is.” The purchaser assumes and accepts all risks of injury or death resulting from the use or improper installation of SRS components. Parts Panel will not be held responsible for any injury, loss of revenue, or damages incurred as a result of the installation or failure of our products.
Returns and Cores
To receive a refund for eligible parts, undamaged items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. All returns must be accompanied by the original sales invoice. Cores must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date to qualify for a refund; no cores will be accepted after this period or without the original invoice. To receive a full core refund, the core must be identical in model and year and must be complete without missing or damaged parts. We reserve the right to issue partial refunds or credits for incomplete or damaged cores. Prior to any warranty work being performed, all repairs or replacements must be approved by Parts Panel.
Limitation of Liability
Parts Panel shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits or lost revenue arising from your use of any of the products procured using the Service. By authorizing the installation of a part, the installer and customer acknowledge that they are responsible for ensuring all fluids, filters, and safety checks meet the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
